Homework

In today's meeting you identified three action steps that will move you toward your desired goal.  Your Homework is to put those action steps in to motion,  then notice what gets in the way.  What thoughts, feelings, or old habits prevent your movement toward your goal?  Write them down.

Becoming aware of the invisible roadblocks to achieving a change in your life is the first step to removing the seeming challenge.  The key to this process is to be vigilant and to keep your mind and heart open to noticing.  Then be gentle with yourself.  These old habits of thought have found a comfortable place you your life.  Are your ready to release them?  We'll talk about that in our next Take Charge of Your Life! Meeting in May...see you there!

Body Awareness Homework

Remaining attached to negative events and beliefs is toxic to our body, mind and spirit.  Your Homework for the next month is to notice when you are caught in a negative pattern.  Then take a walk...down the hall, around the block, just to the bathroom. 
Create enough physical activity to distract your mind.  This movement will generate a subtle shift in your energy; just enough to matter.  Then you can change your thoughts.
